Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of BlackoutOS.

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of BlackoutOS at app.blackoutos.com (the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization that provisioned your account.

The Service

BlackoutOS is a private, invite-only executive operating system that connects business systems your workspace authorizes (for example your store, marketing, advertising, and analytics platforms) and presents verified metrics, briefs, and recommendations to authorized members of your workspace.

Accounts and access

  • Accounts are provisioned by a workspace admin. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You may only access workspaces you have been granted membership to, and only within the permissions of your role.
  • We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the Service.

Connected services

  • Connecting a third-party service (such as Google, Shopify, or Klaviyo) is optional and requires your explicit authorization through that provider’s consent flow.
  • You represent that you are authorized to connect the accounts you connect on behalf of your organization.
  • Data received from connected services is handled as described in the privacy policy. Use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.
  • You may disconnect any service at any time; disconnection deletes the stored credentials for that service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other organizations’ data, probing or disrupting the Service, reverse engineering it, or using it to violate any law or third-party right.

Data and intellectual property

  • Your organization retains all rights to its business data. We claim no ownership over data imported from connected services.
  • BlackoutOS and its software, design, and content are our intellectual property and may not be copied or resold.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. Metrics and recommendations are decision support, not financial or legal advice; verify material decisions against the source systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amounts paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions: [email protected].
